There are laws that protect copyrights. It is illegal to copy photographs taken by others without their permission. Photographs taken on or after January 1, 1978 are protected up to 50 years after the photographer’s death. Photographs in existence on January 1, 1978 are protected for 75 years if the copyright was renewed. And as of January 1, 1989, it is no longer mandatory to put a copyright notice on the photograph for it to be protected under copyright laws.

Submitting any tangible or electronic media, image, data, file, card, disc, device, film, print, slide or negative for any purpose, such as processing, printing, duplication, alteration, enlargement, storage, transmission, or other handling, constitutes an agreement that any loss or damage to it by our company, subsidiary or agents, even though by our negligence or other fault, will only entitle you to replacement with an equivalent quantity/size of unexposed photographic film or electronic media, and processing of the replacement media. Except for such replacement, our acceptance of the media, image, data, file, card, disc, device, film, print, slide or negative is without other liability, and recovery for any incidental or consequential damages is excluded. No express or implied warranty is provided.

Leaving photo materials and equipment more than 30 days from the date we receive it shall automatically terminate our bailment relationship.
Any property not picked up within 30 days shall be considered abandoned, and will be sold or destroyed. Any property we keep beyond the 30 days shall be subject to storage charges and expenses.
